Current Arizona Substitute Certificate or Arizona Teaching Certificate
Terms:
The Permanent Substitute provides classroom coverage and support within the district’s Exceptional Student Services program. This position works every day that students are in attendance and is assigned to special education classrooms based on daily staffing needs. Classroom assignments may change from day to day.
Responsibilities include following established lesson plans and classroom routines, supporting students’ individual learning and behavioral needs, and collaborating with teachers and support staff to maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment. The ideal candidate is patient, dependable, flexible, and committed to helping students with diverse abilities succeed.
